The Hurricane Corps branch of the American Red Cross is in desperate need of volunteers. Dedicated Disaster Relief Volunteer, Dennis Stolpner encourages you to consider joining forces with the Red Cross for their new team.

Currently, the American Red Cross is seeking 100 volunteers in the northeast area.  The initiative hopes to establish a new team, which will be named the Hurricane Season Readiness Reserve Corps.  Born out of preparation, rather than immediate need, this new team is being devised ahead of time to ensure that when disaster strikes, they’ll be prepared.  Volunteers will be responsible for negotiating, preparing for and enacting disaster relief plans for any hurricanes that may affect the area in the future.  As someone who often volunteers with the Red Cross in the way of Disaster Relief, Dennis Stolpner salutes this incredibly smart effort of preparedness.
