The holiday season is almost here! In preparation for the festivities, the American Red Cross is already getting started on their ‘Holiday for Heroes’ initiative, which aims to support the US military. Dennis Stolpner shares the details:
This upcoming Monday, the American Red Cross is slated to kick off their annual ‘Holiday for Heroes’ initiative, a nonprofit effort that provides members of the military with messages of encouragement, gifts and holiday stockings. All stockings and the corresponding gifts are hand-sewn by dedicated ARC volunteers, like Dennis Stolpner. The aim of the campaign is to show appreciation for America’s Heroes, who are so often kept away from their families during the holidays. This event aspires to spread joy and kindness to keep the holiday spirit alive and well within the military.
