If you are located in or around the state of Maine, the local American Red Cross needs your help! Dennis Stolpner discusses the chapter’s current need for volunteers:
Maine is experiencing a serious shortage of volunteers for their chapter of the American Red Cross. But unfortunately, there is no shortage in the area’s need for support. Senior Volunteer Recruitment Specialist, Paula Coyle said of the current need for volunteers:
“The volunteers that run our system are the most important resource we have. We can’t meet the need without them.”
As a dedicated disaster relief volunteer himself, Dennis Stolpner completely agrees with this statement. Afterall, the volunteers are the backbone of the American Red Cross. Without their commitment to the organization and its many initiatives, there would be no Red Cross to begin with. So please, if you are in the Maine area, consider volunteering with the local chapter!
