If your New Year’s Resolution is to donate blood, then roll up your sleeve and get ready! Dennis Stolpner discusses this year’s National Blood Donor Month:
What better way to start the year than to give blood? After a tumultuous 2020 and 2021, the American Red Cross could use some positivity to kick off 2022! In fact, the need for blood donations is eminent — now more than ever. In 2021, the American Red Cross experienced a severe blood shortage that was the lowest on record in more than a decade. Due to mandates that have worked to keep the public safe from contracting and spreading COVID-19, the Red Cross was forced to pull back on a great deal of their blood drives over the last two years.
But you can help! To get 2022 off to the right start, Dennis Stolpner strongly encourages you to donate blood at a blood drive near you during National Blood Donor Month.
