The American Red Cross is set to host a blood drive specifically with Sickle Cell patients in mind. The donation event will take place on October 10, 2020. Frequent and proud Red Cross Volunteer, Dennis Stolpner shares the details:

On October 10th 2020, the American Red Cross is hosting a blood drive in an effort to draw in donations for Sickle Cell patients. The event will take place at New Birth Outreach Church, which is located at 10107 Veterans Parkway in Columbus, Georgia. This is located within the Farnsworth Coleman Sr. Ministry Center. Donors will have the opportunity to contribute between 10 AM and 3 PM.

All donated blood will be tested for COVID-19 antibodies, with results available in one week via the Red Cross app.
